DIED.—At the home of her parents
in this place about six o'clock last
evening, Miss Katie Kerwin, aged ten
years. The cause of death was heart
disease, produced from inflamatory
rheumatism. She had been ill most
of the time since last May, but was
not considered dangerously so, in fact
the physician in charge told the family
on Tuesday that every symptom
was favorable for improvement and recovery,
but yesterday afternoon she
was taken worse and in a short time
her spirit had winged its flight to try
the realities of the other world. The
funeral services will be held tomorrow,
but up to the time of going to
press the hour had not been determined
upon. The parents are well nigh
heart broken over their loss, Katie
being their only daughter. Kind words
and acts of sympathy extended help
to bear the burden of bereavement,
but time alone can heal the wounds
made by the death angel when it enters
the home and takes away some
loved one. The grief stricken' family
have the sympathy of all.
