Mrs. Wm. Cordes died Jan. 29, 1908,
and the last services were held at
Arlington Jan. 31, Rev. Fuehr, the
German Lutheran pastor conducted
the services. Interment in Taylorville
cemetery. She was horn in 1875 and
was married to Win. Cordes in 1899.
To this union were born four children
the younger but one week old. She
was loved and honored by all who knew
her. She was a faithful Christian, a
loving friend, wife, and mother. Beside
her husband and children she leaves a
brother and a host of relatives and
friends to mourn her death. Sympathy is
extended by the entire community.
