Alexander H. Connor was born at Elgin, July 3, 1850 and died of cancer in the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. Leverington near Fairbank, May 26. He lived thirty years in South Dakota and Minnesota. He was converted at the age of 19 and joined the church. Mr. Conner was married September 16, 1872, at Elgin, to Amelia Moore. To this union were born five sons and four daughters. All survive with their mother to mourn the loss of a kind and loving father.
