Funeral services were held at
1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at
the United Methodist church for
Harry A. Randall of Fayette.
Randall died Saturday night,
March 29.
Harry Augusta Randall was born
June 17, 1894 at Lone Rock, Ark.,
the son of Nelson and Nettie Balcom
Randall. While a young boy
he moved to Littleton with his
family, where he attended school.
He was married to Ethel Neville,
April 3, 1917 at Independence.
She died one year after
their marriage. On June 17, 1941
he was married to Donna M.
Kunkle Streeter.
He spent most of his life in Buchanan
and Fayette counties, during
which time he operated a livery
stable that belonged to his father,
and also farmed for a number
of years. He retired ten years
ago, moving to Fayette.
He is survived by his wife, Donna;
one son, Frank K. of Maquoketa;
three stepsons, Darrell L. and
Delbert R. Streeter of Fayette
and Donald R. Streeter of East
Moline, Ill.,;one granddaughter, Doreen
Marie Randall of Maquoketa,
and 14 step-grandchildren; three
brothers, Earl A. and Charles of
Pasadena, Calif.; and Rollin of
Oelwein; and one sister, Ruth, Mrs.
Will Singer of Fayette.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, his first wife and one
daughter.
Dr. George T. Carl officiated at
the service with Belles Wright
Funeral Home in charge. Burial
was in the Wilson cemetery at
Independence.
