FAIRBANK — Funeral
services will be held 1:30 p.m.
Friday at St. John's Lutheran
Church in Fairbank for
William N. Kerns Sr., 54,
Fairbank, who died Tuesday
evening at Allen Hospital in
Waterloo. Burial will be in the
Fairbank cemetery.
Friends may call after 2
p.m. Thursday at the Woods
Funeral Home in Fairbank.
Survivors include his wife,
Jan, Fairbank; two sons,
Joseph, at home, and William
Jr., Fairbank; two stepsons,
Anthony Wuttke, Shellbyville,
Ill., and Larry Loban,
Dunkerton; one stepdaughter,
Lori Wuttke, Shellbyville, Ill.;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nick
Kerns, Oelwein; and three
sisters, Mrs. Evelyn
Salisbury, Dunkerton, Mrs.
Marie Newton, Fairbank, and
Mrs. Alice Bayness, Oelwein.
Kerns was employed at
John Deere in Waterloo.
