Fayette Letter news -
Thomas Wilson passed away at his
home west of town Thursday. March
11, 1920. Mr. Wilson has been i11 all
winter from dropsy and other complications.
The funeral services were
held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon at
the Congregational church: conducted
by the pastor, Rev.D. M. Parker and
burial was in the cemetery near the
stone school house north of town.
Eight children were born to Mr. and
Mrs. Wilson, two of which proceeded
him in death. The six were here
to, attend the funeral services.The
Wilson family, moved here about ten
years ago from over Oelwein way on
to what was formerly,the Rodger's
farm that he purchased. He was a
kind husband and father. much respected
by his neighbors and friends
was 76.years of age and is survived
by his wife, six children and 31
grandchildren.
