FAIRBANK - Mrs. Bertha
Wierck, a Fairbank housewife,
died Monday morning at Mercy
Hospital in Oelwein. She was 93.
Funeral services will be held
Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the St.
John Lutheran Church in
Fairbank with the Rev. Scott
Jans officiating. Burial will be
in the Fairbank cemetery.
Friends may call anytime at the
Woods Funeral Home in
Fairbank, where a prayer
service will be held at 8 p.m.
Tuesday.
Surviving are one son, Alfred
Wierck of Fairbank; three
daughters, Mrs. Glen Wilson of
West Union, Mrs. Vern Frieden
of Oelwein and Mrs. Bob Fuller
of Independence; 13 grandchildren;
and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
her parents, her husband, three
brothers and three sisters.
