Death of Marie Aderman
Mrs. Marie Matilda Tribon Aderman died at her home in this city Thursday evening, April 7th, at 8:15 Fairbank Cemetery.
Miss Marie Matilda Tribon was born March 15, 1843 in Poland, now belonging to Russia. She was one of eight children, three of her five brothers and one of two sisters surviving her. At the age of thirteen she came to this country with her parents and the family settled in Wisconsin. When seventeen years of age she was united in marriage to Charles Aderman who preceded her in death October 2nd of last year. In 1860 Mr. and Mrs. Aderman came to Iowa. First they settled on a farm in Buchanan County, then three and one half years later in Blackhawk County where they resided for eighteen years. Then they moved to the farm south of Oelwein where they continued to reside till two years ago when they moved into the city. Mrs. Aderman had always enjoyed good health, despite the hardships of a pioneer life, till eight years ago when she became somewhat broken in health. Of late she had been reasonably well with the exception of attacks of neuralgia. She was a faithful attendant of the services of the Lutheran church, and found much consolation in the Christian religion. She was a good woman, and has gone to her reward. She was the mother of thirteen children of whom six remain. They are Frank, Henry, Albert, Elvina, Clara and Marie. These with her bothers and sister are left to mourn her loss. The sympathy of friends is extended to the relatives.
