OELWEIN - Funeral services for Sabina L. McGee will be 11 am., Saturday, Dec. 7, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein, with the Rev. Frederick C. Fangmann officiating. Burial will be in the Hazleton Cemetery.
A Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary was held Friday during visitation at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein.
Miss McGee, 101, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 4, 1996, at the West Village Care Center, Independence, after a short illness.
She was born Feb. 15,1895, in Independence, the daughter of James and Nora (Curtis) McGee. She was a country school teacher north of Independence, and then the office manager of OCCO Feeds in Oelwein for more than 30 years. Miss McGee was a longtime Oelwein resident, where she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, C.D.A. Court
SL Rita 321 Oelwein, Business Women's Club, and the Oelwein Garden Club.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister.Marjorie Werdel; and two brothers, Robert and Hubert McGee.
