Funeral services will be held
Sunday af 2 p. m. at Hintz funeral
home for Burr Brownell, 67, of
423 Falls Avenue, Waterloo. The
Rev. Fred Graham of Waterloo will
officiate and burial will be in
Woodlawn cemetery in Oelwein.
Mr. Brownell, a resident of Waterloo
for 10 years, died at St.
Francis hospital in Waterloo at
11:25 p.m. Friday. He was a retired
farmer.
He is survived by. his wife, Lena; two
daughters, Mrs. Vern (Beth)
Titus and Mrs. Raymond (Bonnie)
Soles. Also two grandsons, one
granddaughter, one great-granddaughter,
all of Waterloo, and one
sister, Mrs. Sara Hallinan, Pasadena,
Calif.
He was born Oct. 2l, 1889, in
Fayette county, the son of George
W. and Melissa Powers Brownell.
The body lies in state at Hintz
funeral home.
