Frank C. Kelley was born May 22,
1858 at Elma, la., and passed away at
his home 14 2nd Ave. NW. Sept. 15,
1929 after an illness of two months.
He leaves to mourn his departure
his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Wm. A.
Gordon and one son, Clarence J. all
of Oelwein, and two sisters Mrs. Julia
Purcell of Belvidere, 111., and Mrs.
Mary Dunn of Waterloo.
He was a member of the C. O. F. of
Elma, la., I. A. of M. and the B of Ry
E.
Funeral services were conducted at
9:30 at Sacred Heart church, Sept.
17, Fr. Ambrosey and Fr. Gannon officiating.
The remains were laid to
rest in Woodlawn cemetery.
Those from out of town who attended
the funeral were Mrs. Julia
Purcell of Belvidere, Ill., Mr. and Mrs.
B. Dunn, Mrs. Celia Kelley and son
Thomas and daughter Pearl, Mr. and
Mrs. F. N. Stephenson and son Donald,
Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Andrews, Mr. and Mrs.
E. Andrews, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dailey, Hazel Clark, Mr. and Mrs. John Carter,
and Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Sibert all of Waterloo; Mrs. Charles McGrane, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Deegan, Mrs. Clem Cashman, Mr. Nick Rilley, Mrs. Harry Clark, all of Elma, Ia; Tom Clark of Charles City; Mrs. John Mohr of Manning; Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Rilley of Madison, Wisc; Mrs. Kate Boylan and son Earl and Mrs. John Elliot of Eastman, Wisc.; Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Klopp and Mrs. J. Barker and son Donald of Cedar Rapids; C. McGrane of Chicago.
