OELWEIN — Funeral services for Juanita Gosse will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the Hintz-Geilenfeld Funeral Home, Oelwein, with the Rev. Paul Fohs officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Gosse, 82, died Sunday afternoon, July 15, 2001, at Oeiwein Health Care Center. She was born Jan. 1, 1919, near Coalville, Iowa the daughter of Sam and Helen (Petroff) Morrow. She married Herman Gosse on Sept. 28, 1941. He was killed near Bittsburg, Germany, Feb. 26,1945. On April 11, 1948, she married Frank Gosse. Juanita worked for Wilson Produce and Karl Mike's Grocery.

Survivors include her son , Charles (Dorothy) of Oelwein; her daughter, Geraldine Finley (Roger) Zink of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy VanDer Millen of Fairfax, and Bernice Uhls of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Herman; her second husband, Frank, 1978; a brother, Sam C. Morrow, lost at sea during World War II and three sisters, Ana Kirov, Minnie Kristoff and Helen Peterman.
