At her home in south Oelwein, Friday
morning, Sept. 10th, Miss Julia Jarrett.
She had been ailing for some
time and was gradually sinking until
death came to relieve her of her suffering.
No one could say aught against
her. She was possessed of a genial
disposition and was admired by every
one who knew her. The sympathy of
the entire community is expressed for
the grief stricken family. The funeral
was held at the Presbyterian
church Sunday conducted by Rev.
Noel, of West Union and the remains
were escorted to the Otsego cemetery
by a large concourse of people. She
is laid to rest but her memory will
long remain fresh in the hearts of
those who knew and loved her best.
