Rites Held For Oliver Rowland

Oliver R. Rowland, son of Ezara L. Rowland and the late Bertha Rowland, was born July 1, 1912. He grew to manhood in the Clermont vicinity. He passed away May 11, 1963.

On March 13, 1944, he was united in marriage to LaVilla Gordon. To this union were born three sons, Everett, James and David.

Preceding him in death were his mother and one half brother, Walter Warnke.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife; three sons; his father and step-mother; three sisters, Mrs. Norman Reinertson of Waterloo, Mrs. L. A. Sitter of Logans Porte, Indiana, and Mrs. Reuben Hackman of Elgin; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the Wesleyan Methodist Church, West Union, on May 14, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. K. J. Rumppe officiating. Burial was in God's Acre cemetery at Clermont.
