Died - Monday, September 16, 1890, Mrs. Isabelle Codling, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Hough, in this city, in her 88th year.

Mrs. Codling was born in Durham county, England, came to this country in 1857 and settled on their farm in Oran township where she lived until the death of her husband sixteen years ago. She was a kind, amiable and conscientious woman, respected and esteemed by all. Six children live to mourn her death; Mrs. J. W. Hough, Mrs. B. E. Hough, a daughter in England, William Codling, a son in Pennsylvania and one in British Columbia. The funeral was held from the Presbyterian church Wednesday, at 10 o'clock, services by Rev. McElroy of Waverly. The friends of the bereaved relatives deeply sympathize with them in their sorrow.
