Funeral services for Charles Busse, 78, who died in his home Tuesday evening, will be held at the Presbyterian Church at 2:00 Saturday with Dr. L. W. Hauter officiating. Interment will be at Littleton.

Mr. Busse was born the son of Amelia Zittlau and William Busse, December 27, 1872 in Germany. A retired farmer at the time of his death, he had farmed north of Oelwein for 21 years. He was a resident of the state for 60 years and had lived in Oelwein one year.

Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Myrtle (Mrs. John Winter), Oelwein ; Lydia (Mrs. Charles Winter), Wadena and Ruth (Mrs. Eldo Brockman), Westgate. Also surviving are six grandsons, one granddaughter, two brothers, August Busse, Ajoe, California and Gustaf of Oelwein and two sister, Mrs. Ella Jones, Augwin, California and Mrs. John Becker, Dundee. Two grandsons, one brother and a sister preceded him in death.
