Lena Brownell, 94, of Cedar Falls, died Friday morning, April 14, (1989) at Windsor Care Center in Cedar Falls. She was a retired homemaker and had lived in the Oelwein-Stanley area for more than 50 years.

Services will be Monday, April 17 at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Waterloo. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Oelwein.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Vern (Beth) Titus and Mrs. Raymond (Bonnie) Soles, both of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Slater and Mae Maulson, both of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burr, her parents, a son, and several brothers and sisters.
