Floyd Everett Jensen of 723 Second Avenue, S. W., Oelwein, died Saturday morning at his home. Jensen, 70, was a retired semi-truck driver and a fireman with the Chicago Great Western Railway. He was a lifetime resident of the community and a member of Peace Lutheran church of Oelwein.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am at the Peace Lutheran church with the Rev. Stan Goldfish officiating. Friends may call at Brant-Kerns Funeral home in Oelwein . Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens cemetery, rural Oelwein.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Wilma Jensen of Oelwein, four sons, Ronald Jensen of Independence, Robert Jensen and Richard Jensen both of Oelwein, and Brian Jensen of Oregon, Wisconsin, three daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Annette) Moore of Hiwatha, Kay Jensen of Eldora and Sharon Jensen of Winfield; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Dale Jensen of Oelwein and Kenneth Jensen of Waterloo; and his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Jensen of Oelwein. He was preceded in death by his father.
