Obituary - William Grant

William Grant was born in Fond du Lac county, Wis., July 27,1849, and died at his home at Randalia Jan 16,1912, aged sixty-two years, five months, nineteen days. He came with his parents to Fayette County in 1866 and was married to Sarah E. McNaul Jan 20,1878. One child was born, Mabel C., now Mrs Henry Hack of Randalia. There are left to mourn his loss his widow, his daughter, and three grandchildren of Randalia; his aged mother and two brothers living at Sebeka, Minn., and a sister living at McLead, N.D.
His death came after a painful illness lasting about eighteen months during which he displayed great fortitude and the utmost consideration for all about him. He was a loving father, a devoted husband, and a kind neighbor. His funeral was held from the Methodist church at Randalia Thursday morning, at 11o'clock by the pastor, Rev William Galbreth.
