Died - In Stanley, last Friday morning, Ernstus R. Miller, aged sixty-six years. Deceased was born in Erie county, New York, October 22, 1831 and came to Iowa in 1854. He was a brother of A. J. Miller, living northeast of the city, and was well known in this part of the state. He has been in poor health for some months, and for a few weeks before his death, in a very enfeebled condition, the foundation being an attack of the grip from which he did not recover. The funeral services were held at Stanley Sunday afternoon, and were very largely attended, the procession being over a mile in length. The burial took place at Otsego cemetery.
