Mr. John S. McSweeny passed away this morning at his home in Fayette. The funeral services will be held from the Catholic church in Fayette Saturday morning at 10 o'clock.

Surviving are his wife and one son James McSweeny of Randalia. A daughter and son preceded him in death several years ago. He is also survived by three brothers, W. J. McSweeny of Cedar Rapids, E. C. McSweeny and J. S. McSweeny of Oelwein, and two sisters, Mrs. Jas. Quinn and Mrs. W. J. Brennan both of Oelwein.
