Died at her home in this city, last Monday morning, December 18th, Mrs. Jacob Doctor after a lingering illness during which she suffered a great deal, but was patient through it all. Sabitha Jane Bishop was born in Fayette county, Iowa, on September 20th, 1855. She was married to Jacob Doctor in March, 1876. Three children have preceded her to the other world. She leaves six brothers, four sisters, father, mother, husband and many friends to mourn her loss. She united with the Baptist church in this place in January 1893 and has lived a consistent Christian. The bereaved husband and family have the sympathy of the church and friends in this hour of great affliction which has come upon them.
