Funeral services were held this morning at Sacred Heart church for Mrs. Charles Watson of Independence, who lived east of Oelwein for many years. Burial was made in the Otsego cemetery. Mrs. Watson was related to Miss Lilly Culver of Des Moines, formerly of Oelwein, and had many friends here and in the Stanley and Aurora vicinities.
