Peter C. Saboe, Eldorado, Iowa, died Sunday, May 28, at 11 p.m. in the hospital at La Crosse, Wis., where he had been taken earlier that day. Mr. Saboe had been ill about 10 days with a complication of diseases.

Funeral service will be Thursday (today) at 1:30 p.m. in the home and 2 p.m. in St. Peter's Lutheran church, of which he had been a member all his life. Rev. William A. Foege will conduct the service.

Peter Corneliau Saboe was born June 4, 1880, in Filmore county, Minn., and in his early childhood moved with his mother to Dover township. They resided on a farm three miles northeast of Eldorado and Mr. Saboe received his education near Eldorado.

On November 23, 1905, he was united in marriage with Miss Anna Ney. They have lived on the home farm four miles northeast of Eldorado ever since their marriage.

To this union four children were born, Harry, Eldorado; Marvin, a corporal in the armed services, and Lloyd and Arnold at home.

Besides his sons, Mr. Saboe is survived by his wife, a sister, Mrs. Frank Ney, Ossian, a brother, Colben, West Union, and two grandchildren, Robert and Lorraine.
