Mrs. Jane Hughson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Plummer in Independence Thursday afternoon, July 4th. The body will arrive in the city over the Rock Island Saturday morning and the funeral will be held from the Baptist church at 10:15, Rev. Nickels officiating. She was well known in this city where she had resided a number of years.
