Albert Thornton

Albert Thornton, 80, suffered a heart attack and died at his home in Oelwein on Wednesday, June 10, 1987

Funeral services were held Saturday June 13, 1 p.m. at Christ United Presbyterian Church, Oelwein with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. Hintz-Geilenfeld Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jessie, in 1974, 1 brother and 1 sister.

He is survived by 3 sons, Reginald, Cedar Falls, Aaron, Boston, Massachusetts, and Adrian, San Jose, California; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters, Ethel Schellhammer, Madison, Wisconsin, Nellie Jennings, Cedar Rapids and Thelma Luebka, Postville.
