Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. August 06, 2007 at Wadena Community Presbyterian Church, Wadena, IA with interment at the Elgin Cemetery, Elgin, IA. Leonard Funeral Home, Elgin, IA was in charge of arrangements.

Nicki Jo Nading, 29, of Elgin, died at her home Thursday, August 2, 2007, following a long illness. She was born in West Union on April 2, 1978, to Larry and Carole (Fenner) Nading. She was baptized January 21, 1979, and confirmed June 20, 1993. Nicki graduated from Valley Community School District.

Survivors include her parents, Larry and Carole Nading, Elgin; brother, Scott Nading, Elgin, sister, Mackenzie Nading, Elgin; one nephew, Nolan; paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Doris Nading, Elgin; her "Knight in Shining Armor", Don Tellin, Oelwein, and a host of other family members.

Nicki was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roy and Jean Fenner.
