Martha Dravis (1890-1918)

Miss Martha Dravis, who departed this life November 4, 1918 at Wall, South Dakota, was born November 13, 1890. She was baptised and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Her girlhood days were passed in and near Oelwein. About two years ago she was taken ill. In order to regain health, she went to South Dakota where she contracted the fatal disease which robbed her of her earthly life. She leaves to mourn her loss besides a host of friends and other relatives her mother, Mrs. Otto Kommos; her step-father Otto Kommos; two sisters Mrs. Joe Kauten and Mrs. Erne Rose; all of Oelwein; one brother, William Dravis of Camp Dodge and six nieces and four nephews.

Last services were conducted from the Otto Kommos home. Rev. E. J. Braulick officiating. Interment was made at the Oran cemetery.
