Harold F. Triem, 87, of Postville, formerly of Clermont, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 16, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in Prairie du Chien, Wis., following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Union Sunday School, Clermont, with the Rev. Gary Catterson officiating.

Visitation has been scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Schutte's Clermont Funeral Chapel in Clermont and for one hour prior to the service at Union Sunday School.

Burial will be in God's Acre Cemetery, Clermont.

Schutte Funeral and Cremation Service of Postville is handling the arrangements.

Harold was born Sept. 22, 1919, in Clermont.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Matilda (Connor) Triem; a daughter, Georgia Triem; and a brother, James Triem.

Harold is survived by his wife, Sharon (Kerlin Buechler) Triem, whom he married Sept. 8, 1983, in Caledonia, Minn.; a daughter, Fayne (Leon) Szabo of Clarion; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Additional survivors include Harold's extended family, Kevin (Liane) Buechler of Plymouth, Minn., Patrick (Lisa) Buechler of Colorado Springs, Colo., Michael Buechler of Beverly Hills, Calif., and their children.
