Glenn Marion (Scott) Wagner was born November 8, 1885, in Dover Township, Fayette County, a child of William H. and Maria (Foster) Scott. She was one of five children, having two sisters and two brothers. She attended rural school (Dover), and lived at home caring for her parents until her marriage. She married Edwin Oscar Wagner on February 4, 1913, at rural West Union, Iowa.

There were seven children born to them. Glenn was a long time member of the United Methodist Church, West Union, and its women's organization, the United Methodist Women. She was recognized as a 70 year member of the church in May of 1979. Glenn was active in Farm Bureau Women.

Glenn has been a resident of the Good Samaritan Home in West Union the past six years, where she died on Saturday, November 20, 1982.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Vern, her sisters Margaret (Mrs. Roy) Learn, and Helen (Mrs. John) Mathews; and her brothers Ed and Cam.

She is survived by sons Clair and Carl of West Union; daughters Helen (Mrs. Reynold) Baumler, Francis (Mrs. Charlie) Koester, Amy (Mrs. Robert) Burgess of West Union, Iva (Mrs. Jack) Adrian of Elgin and daughter in law Marvel Wagner of West Union; seventeen grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
