MRS. ALMA BISHOP DIES IN WATERLOO

Mrs. Alma Bishop of 225 1/2 West 5th, Waterloo, Iowa died Sunday, August 19, 1973 at Scholtz Hospital, Waterloo, of cancer at the age of 71.

Mrs. Bishop was born at Clermont, Iowa on August 19th, 1902 and made her home for many years in Waterloo. She was the daughter of Andrew and Gunda Erickson Hanson.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Thomas Bishop, her parents, sisters Emma, Josie and Inga and brothers Gustav, Edon, Louis and Oscar. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Martha Davis of Waterloo, with whom she made her home, and one brother, Gilbert, of Clermont, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bishop donated her body to the Medical Research Center at the University of Iowa, Iowa City.

There will be a graveside memorial service later at Cedar Falls.
