ORVAL L. TATRO DIES IN ILLINOIS

Orval L. Tatro of Park City, Illinois, died February 7, 1973 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan, Illinois, following a lingering illness. Services were held at West Clermont Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 1973 with the Rev. Duane Berg, Elgin, officiating. A prayer service was held at Marsh Funeral Home, Waukegan, February 8, 1973 by members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Orval L. Tatro, son of Ray and Mary Anderson Tatro, Sr. was born June 4, 1910 at Clermont. He received his education in the Clermont public schools and graduated from high school in 1929. He was baptized and confirmed at the West Clermont Lutheran Church and was a member and past president of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Mr. Tatro had been a resident of the Waukegan, Illinois, vicinity for the past 30 years and was employed as office manager of the Flex-Kleen Corp. at Libertyville, Illinois.

April 26, 1931, Mr. Tatro was married to Kathinka Vikre of Decorah. His parents, a sister Evelyn Minerva and an infant son David LaVerne, preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, his sons, Kenneth, Fairbanks, Indiana; Louis, Rockford, Illinois; Jerome, Round Lake, Illinois; Thomas, McHenry, Illinois; Bernard, New Hampton, Iowa; and Steven, Park City, Illinois; and the following brothers and sisters: Clarence Tatro, Clermont; Mrs. Fred (Viola) Tann, St. Petersburg, Florida; Mrs. Harry (Irene) Cooney and Mrs. Stella Talley of Iowa City; Mrs. Harlan (Hazel) Stee, Castalia; Mrs. Almar Lee (Alice) Nelson, Clermont; Roy Tatro, Elgin and Mrs. Robert (Andrea) Burrett, Waukon. Eighteen grandchildren also survive.

Burial was in God's Acres Cemetery, Clermont.
