Funeral serv­ices for Mrs. B.W. (Laura) Hassler, 68, of Oelwein, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Brant Funeral Home. Burial was in the Taylorville Cemetery, Arlington, Ia. She died Thursday afternoon in an Iowa City hos­pital.

Surviving are her husband; three sons, Richard, Oelwein; Robert, Des Moines; and Stanley, with the army at Ft. Knox, Ky.; four daughters, Mrs. Dale (Barbara) Westcott, Oel­wein; Mrs. Bill (Mabel) Kopen­haven, Brandon, Ia.; Mrs. James (Solona) Weber, Water­loo, Ia.; and Mrs. Lee (Bernita) Halter, Cedar Falls; one sister, Mrs. Celia Slauter, La­moni, Ia.; one brother, Archie Brooks, Strawberry Point; and 23 grandchildren.
