Louis Bender, 96, of Palatine, a retired credit manager, died Thursday in Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights. Survivors include his daughter, Angeline Jefferson; son, Walter, and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today in Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N Northwest Hwy., Palatine. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Immanuel Luthern Church, 200 N Plum Grove Road, Palatine. Memorial may be made to Immanuel Luthern Church, Palatine. (Husband of Juliana C Rueber)
