WEST UNION - Funeral services for Elsie Fram will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Bethel Presbyterian Church, West Union, with the Rev. Carl Stoldt officiating. Burial will be in the Wadena Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at the Burnham-Wood Funeral Home, West Union.
Mrs. Fram, 87, died Saturday evening, Jan. 3, 1998, at the Good Samaritan Home in West Union.
She was born Oct. 1, 1910, in Osmond, Neb., the daughter of Martin and Katherine Delfs Kahler.
Survivors include one son, Ronald, of St. Charles, Mo., two daughters, Ramona Cook of Clermont, and Katherine Miller of Winthrop; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lavern Ochs of Hemet, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alton, January 1966; two sons, George (1993) and Melvin, in infancy; two daughters, Elizabeth and May, both in infancy; one grandson; three brothers, Harvey, Alfred and Earl Kahler; and one sister, Viola Krier.
