WEST UNION - Funeral services for Lavina Mork will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Zion Lutheran Church, West Union. Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Burnham-Wood Funeral Home, West Union.
Mrs. Mork, 85, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 11, 1998, at the Good Samaritan Home, West Union, after a long illness.
She was born Sept. 29, 1912, in Hawkeye, the daughter of Paul and Julia (Gipper) Wendland.
Survivors include one son, Leo (Diane) Mork, Jr., of Swisher; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Laura Miller of Hawkeye.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo, Sr., in 1976; one daughter, Sherry, in infancy; and three sisters.
