WEST UNION - Funeral services for Charles Erickson will be 10:30 am. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, West Union. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Burnham-Wood Funeral Home in West Union.
Mr. Erickson, 58, died Sunday evening, Aug.10, 1997, at Palmer Lutheran Health Center in West Union.
He was born April 4, 1939, in Fayette, the son of Caleb and Leola Rawson Erickson. He worked as a custodian for the Fayette County Courthouse. Everyone knew him as "Charlie."
Survivors include one sister, Linda (Vernon) Warnke of Oelwein. He was preceded in death by his parents.
