Frances L. Driscoll - April 14, 1923 - Dec. 28, 2006

VENTURA, Calif. - Frances Louise McDevitt Driscoll, 83, died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006.

A memorial Mass was held Friday, Jan. 5, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Ventura, with interment at Santa Clara Cemetery, Oxnard.

Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Rd., Ventura, assisted the family.

Frances was born April 14, 1923, in Oelwein, to John and Marie McDevitt. She married Don Driscoll on June 18, 1940. They made their home in California.

Survivors: her children Denny (Marilyn), Mike (Trudi), Mary Therese (Alan) Von Doeren and Kelly (Chip) Bell, all of Ventura; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jo Griffin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
