Warner C. Aylsworth
WADENA - Warner Charles Aylsworth, 80, died suddenly at his home Monday, Dec. 22, 1997. Funeral services were held Dec. 26 at the United Methodist Church in North Freedom, Wis.
He was born April 28, 1917, at Shell Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of Charles and Anna (Minger) Aylsworth, the second oldest of 10 children. When he was 11, he and his family moved to Wadena, Iowa. He married Norma Burkman on Dec. 22, 1945.
Survivors include his wife, Norma; two daughters, Ermadel (Dean) Ludwick of Bettendorf, and Hope (James) Woodfork of Addison, Ill.; five sons, Charles W. (Linda) of Rockford, Ill., Edward H. (Lisa Leroy) of North Freedom, William of Fox Lake, Wis., Harvey of Rock Springs, and Lloyd (Charlotte) of Grand Junction, Colo.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Bert (Hazel) Aylsworth of Wadena; and four sisters, Kay Blashke of Sumner, Anna Newton of Independence, Della (Charles) Cassett of Davenport, and Ella (Adolph) Rehurek of Endwell, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William; and three sisters, Winnifred, Mary Belle and Dorothy.
