Graveside Services for Clermont native

Private graveside services and interment in God's Acre Cemetery, Clermont, were held Wednesday, May 19 (1982), for William Larabee, 77, who died Friday, May 14, in Los Angeles, CA.

William Larabee, former Clermont resident, was born July 16, 1904, the son of Lillian and William Larabee, Jr. and grandson of Governor William Larrabee.

He attended high school at Northwestern Military Academy in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; attended the University of Iowa, Iowa City, and graduated from the University of Iowa Law school with high honors.

Mr. Larabee was an attorney in Los Angeles, CA, and later served as Vice President and General Counsel for Northrup Corporation. He twice served as president of the Iowa Association of California and as president of the Iowa Alumni Association in California.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; his son, William; two granddaughters and a sister, Janet Mitchell of Clermont and Wilmette, Illinois.
