Died - Near Waverly, Spokan county, Washington Territory, June 9th, 1887, Mrs. Mozella, wife of Mr. L. Davis, aged 32 years, 6 months, and 6 days.

Mr. and Mrs. Davis were married March 28th, 1882 and came to Washington Territory seeking health and a home in the far west, in a strange land and among strangers. Their warm loving hearts and winning ways won for them many friends. For 18 months, Mrs. Davis' health has been failing and for the last three months has been a great sufferer, but she patiently bore her suffering with scarcely a murmur. She was sweetly trusting in the blessed Saviour and although nearing the turbid waters of death she seemed submissive to His will and said the way seemed bright. She leaves a bereaved husband and little boy and a great number of friends to mourn. But "our loss is her eternal gain". The funeral services were held at their residence and she was buried in the cemetery near Spangle.
