On Tuesday the 13th inst. Mr. Thos.
Schmillen and Miss Mary Shomer were
married at the Catholic church by the
Rev. Father O'Connor. The groom is
son of Mr. Peter Schmillen. Mr.
Matt Shomer is father of the bride.
Both families are well known in this
city, and enjoy a reputation which for
respectability and integrity can scarcely
be excelled. The host of bosom
friends who witnessed the ceremony as
well as the wide circle of well-wishers,
are all enthusiastic in tendering to the
youthful pair their warmest sentiments
of congratulation; and hope that they
will enjoy many long and happy years
in the new sphere of life.
