1891 Wedding

On the evening of Thanksgiving day
Rev. F. M. Robertson pronounced the
words which united in the holy bond
of matrimony Ernest A. Yarwood and
Miss Phoebe Hockings. The ceremony
took place at the residence of
the bride's parents in the presence of
a number of relatives and near friends
The newly couple took the train to
Des Moines where they have been
spending the week with relatives. On
their return they will go to housekeeping
near the Kansas City tracks, the groom
being an employee of the company
in the yards here. This worthy
couple are among the best of Oelwein
young people and we trust that their
union may prove a happy one, and
life's journey be free of storms.
