National Bank; residence on Vine street; born in Belvidere, Boone Co., Ill., April 2, 1848; came to West Union in 1875; engaged in the business of dentist for nine years. Married Anna B. McCasland Sept. 14, 1873; she was born in Indiana; they have two children - Blanche E., born July 18, 1875, and Nellie, Oct. 2, 1876.
