Klinger, Franz, farmer, Section 13; PO West Union; born Dec. 27, 1830 in Germany; in 1855 came to DuPage Co, Illinois; in 1866, came to his present farm; owns 175 acres, valued at $20 per acre. Married Salome Sturm, Dec. 27, 1859; she was born in March, 1831, in Alsace, France; had nine children, eight living -- Karl, Emma, Mary, Henry J., John F., George E., Simon W., Edward C. and William J. Are members of the Lutheran Church.
