Morehouse, John, farmer, Section 26 (Scott township); PO Brush Creek; born in Yorkshire, England , June 9, 1822; came to Kenosha Co., Wisconisn, in 1850, and located in this county in 1854. Married Miss Henrietta Feisline in 1864; she was born in Lorraine, France (now Germany), in 1830; have two children --- George F., born Dec. 25, 1865; Lincoln F., Jan. 7, 1867. He is a Greenbacker or Nationalist in politics. He has been Constable for eight years, and has held all the local offices of his township at different times. He owns eighty acres of land, worth $25 per acre.
