Scoehla, Joseph, farmer, Section 1 (Auburn township); PO Festina; born in Bohemia in 1843. Married Annie Soburg, widow of Henry Hoober; she has four children by her first husband --- Mary H., Thomas, Henry and Roselle. Lost one child -- Francis. Mr. S. came to this county in 1865, settled on his present estate; has a farm of 160 acres. Both are members of the Bohemian Catholic Church. Have five children --- Geroge, Ulbert, Annie, Joseph and Theodore.
