Sloucum, Lemuel W., farmer, Section 31 (Auburn township); PO Eden; born in Lake Co., Illinois, in 1848, and came West with his father, Brinson W. Sloucum, in 1854, living at his home until 1876, when he settled on his present estate; has a farm of 110 acres, valued at $25 per acre. Holds the office of Pathmaster, and is a son of one of the erliest settlers in the county.
