Stevens, William P., farmer, Section 32 (Auburn township); PO Windsor; born in Grafton Co., NH in 1819. Married Martha G. Reynolds in 1848; she was born in New York State in 1828; have two children -- Angeline E. and Helen M; lost one child -- Willie, born 1861 and died in 1864. Settled in this county in 1854, and on his present estate; he has a farm of forty acres; the county was wild when he settled, living in a slab house several years; went to McGregor to mill, and experienced all the hardships of pioneer life.
