Lackey, W. F., farmer, Section 28 (Fairfield township); Brush Creek; owns 110 acres of land, valued at $5,000; born in Franklin Co., VT, Dec. 10, 1819, where he married Sarah Hooper Jan. 1, 1843; she was born in New York May 26, 1820; immigrated to and settled in this county in November, 1856; settled on his present farm in December, 1869. He has been a member of the Board of Supervisors, and is a Republican. Mr. L. worked at the blacksmith trade seventeen years in Franklin Co., VT, prior to his coming West.
